wantstogiveyou is one year old! thats right the site has been up and running for an entire year now. we have slowly added great friends and their bands, written records, recorded videos, played shows, and created a lot of great music. there is a lot more to come. thanks to everyone who has helped us make this work.
in honor of the WTGY birthday i wanted to find something that maybe you haven’t heard. sound of sirens was the first band i played in, and the first time i played guitar as well. this recording happened about a month or so after we started playing together. recorded at lola manor in 1998 by clay holley on a really hot arizona day/night. recorded onto an 8 track reel to reel, and then self released on cassette tape (click here for cover art) we went on tour a month later, recorded again while on tour, played a good amount of shows with rad bands and then broke up another month after that. enjoy, and thanks for listening.
